Bouncing back from Monday’s rough outing, the Los Angeles Dodgers put together a strong finish Tuesday night, defeating the Kansas City Royals 10–4 in Cactus League play
.
The game remained tight through most of the evening, with the teams deadlocked at 4–4 entering the ninth inning. Los Angeles then broke things open, erupting for six runs in the final frame to seal the victory.
The late surge was highlighted by a go-ahead home run from Jack Suwinski and a grand slam by Seby Zavala. Ryan Fitzgerald chipped in with an RBI double, while Hyeseong Kim reached base three times during the game.
Starter Roki Sasaki showed flashes of his strikeout ability but battled command issues. The right-hander worked 3⅓ innings, striking out five while walking four and allowing three earned runs on four hits.
After Sasaki’s departure, the Dodgers’ bullpen kept things under control and the offense did the rest, using the big ninth inning to secure the 10–4 win.
