Dodgers Blank Royals

The Dodgers rolled out a lineup today packed with the names that powered them to back-to-back World Series titles, and the results were immediate.

With a batting order featuring Miguel Rojas, Freddie Freeman, Mookie Betts, and Teoscar Hernández, Los Angeles jumped out to a quick 3–0 lead over the Kansas City Royals and never looked back, cruising to a 6–0 shutout victory in the desert.

The top four hitters set the tone all afternoon. In 12 combined at-bats, the quartet produced 9 hits, 3 runs scored, and 6 RBIs, accounting for every Dodger run. It was a dominant performance and a clear reminder why The Boys in Blue remain the odds-on favorite to capture a third straight championship.

Today’s Notes

Teoscar Hernández Stays Hot Hernández went 3-for-3 at the plate. After arriving to camp roughly 20 pounds lighter, Teoscar looks primed to be a major problem for opposing pitchers this season.

Miguel Rojas Makes His Case With the battle for infield spots becoming one of the biggest stories of the spring, Miguel Rojas reminded everyone exactly why he’s so valuable.Rojas finished 3-for-3, scored a run, and stole a base — an impressive statement from the veteran presence in the infield competition.

Pitching Dominance The Dodger pitching staff was equally sharp, allowing just three hits and not a single run. It was a complete performance on the mound and another example of the depth that continues to make Los Angeles one of the most dangerous teams in baseball.
